2nd Annual Daniel Watkins Memorial Show to Raise Funds for Local Scholarships and Promote Mental Health Awareness

FORKED RIVER, N.J. - eMusicWire -- Forked River, NJ – The 2nd Annual Daniel Watkins Memorial Show will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the VFW 10118 in Forked River, NJ. This event will honor the life of Daniel Watkins and raise funds for a scholarship fund dedicated to helping local high school seniors pursue their college education. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the scholarship fund in Daniel's name, continuing the legacy of support he received throughout his life.

Last year's event helped five local students attend college, and this year, the goal is to support even more students. We invite the community to come together for this worthy cause and help make a difference in the lives of local youth.

In keeping with Daniel's love for music, this year's show will feature live performances from several bands, many of whom are local high school seniors and young adults currently attending college. Daniel's band, Asinine Relevance, was a major part of his passion for music, and we continue to support the dream of providing local youth with a place to perform and grow.
