Shalaine Stebner, talks about being raised on a dirt road in her recent October 25th release, `Dirt Road Raised (Remix)`.

CALGARY, Alberta - eMusicWire -- Shalaine`s desire in writing this 'song for everyone' was based on her real life experiences of being raised on hard dirt roads and introspectively growing through it.

``Dirt Road Raised (Remix) is my story, and I think it also resonates with a lot of others! No matter where you live, we were all raised on a dirt road. ... we learned hard lessons on a dirt road...``

Most people look back on their hometowns and think of those moments where they had to make tough decisions. There is always that something, that story that binds us with those memories and creates a connection to that location.

``This song was written as a homage to where I was raised. I had a childhood full of exploring and learning lessons the hard way.``

This Big Records.World artist has Bob Beals (Sound Foundation) to thank for the recent remix of her  release `Dirt Road Raised` that was launched on Friday, October 25th through TuneCore.  The award winning Singer-Songwriter strives to be a household name, and plans to keep on `writing and perfecting her craft`.

Shalaine, who identifies herself as a `pretty country` genre singer, has graced the stage since the age of 6 and once she had, she was `hooked`. As life unfolded in her teens, she set `the dream` aside but that changed at the age of 22 when she inherited her grandpa`s guitar and decided `to give it a go`. Raising her confidence through education, she started playing at various markets and retirement homes but it wasn`t until the pandemic hit that she was inspired to take to the pen, marking her as a true Singer-Songwriter.

Her first single, `As Strong As Your Daddy`, talked about men's mental health, a love song to her son to encourage him to recognize that `it is ok to feel`.

The positive feedback from this song gave her the strength and excitement to keep pushing forward. Since then, she has released over 14 songs and was recently recognized as the 2024 International Songwriter of the Year from ISSA. She is very excited about her future in songwriting and performing.

``I want someone to listen to my songs, know that it's me, and feel the emotions I desperately want to convey!``
