Alyrica is pleased to provide this new offering to enhance accessibility to their services. The company encourages eligible members of the community to participate and hopes that in doing so, Oregon is one step closer to closing the digital divide.
PHILOMATH, Ore. - eMusicWire -- Alyrica Networks is proud to announce its approval as a provider for the Oregon Lifeline Program, a federal and state initiative designed to make high-speed internet more accessible and affordable for low-income households. This milestone aligns with Alyrica Networks' mission to deliver reliable internet services to the community, a commitment that began when our founders started providing service to their neighbors in rural Philomath.
Recognizing the internet as essential for education, work, healthcare, and staying connected, Alyrica aims to broaden access to more community members, regardless of their financial situation. Sam Dotson, CEO of Alyrica, states, "We are excited to join this program, which allows us to extend our commitment to providing affordable high-speed internet to more households. We appreciate the efforts of the State of Oregon and the Public Utilities Commission in making this program possible."

Lifeline offers a monthly discount of up to $19.25 on high-speed internet service for eligible low-income households. This program replaces the recently concluded Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and provides crucial financial assistance to those in need. Eligibility includes households with incomes at or below 135% of federal poverty guidelines or those receiving benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, and Supplemental Security Income.
By participating in the Oregon Lifeline Program, Alyrica Networks strives to bridge the digital divide, ensuring all residents have the opportunity to benefit from internet access. This initiative supports children in connecting to educational resources, adults in working from home and receiving medical care, and people in maintaining relationships despite distance.
