SAN PEDRO, Calif. - eMusicWire -- The Fortnight Concert Series, debuted in Summer 2018, is back for round two.

Angels Gate Cultural Center co-sponsors the Fortnight Concert Series, an eight-night event featuring an array of musical talents in the access tunnel leading to the Leary gun battery. Harold Greene, an Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) founding artist, and Frank Rodriguez, an AGCC resident artist, will be hosting the series starting August 23rd.

The concert venue is a hundred year old access tunnel on the AGCC campus. Holding the Fortnight Concert Series midway through the underground tunnel provides musical and vocal guest artists a uniquely intimate space with marvelous acoustics. This is truly an underground concert event.

August 23rd and 24th: Harold Greene
Harold will open the 2019 concert series, creating music on the fly, playing the Chapman Stick with the aid of the loop pedal and percussion implements.

September 6th and 7th: Dave Widow
Dave, an established guitarist, singer and songwriter, will bring a rich soulful sound to the battery with his unique finger-picking style and strong impassioned vocals.
