BROOKLYN, N.Y. - eMusicWire -- Eyes On Art Group proudly presents I belong (t)here, an exhibition that explores the fluidity of identity and the search for belonging in a world that is constantly shifting. Featuring over 30 contemporary works, the show invites viewers to reconsider what it means to exist, to belong, and to carry one's personal history across spaces and time. Juried by Aida Valdez, Lisa Boudet, Maya Hayda, and Yvena Despagne, this marks the third exhibition organized by Eyes On Art Group. I belong (t)here will be on view at Seven House Gallery from February 21–26, 2025.
In an era where identity and belonging are central to cultural and political conversations, I belong (t)here urges visitors to reflect on home as something beyond borders, beyond expectations. The exhibition challenges the seemingly simple question, "Where are you from?"—a phrase that can foster connection just as easily as it can impose limitations and assumptions.

"In the midst of current events, "I belong (t)here" is an exhibition that is well needed. We should all feel secure in our own skin, regardless of where we choose to exist, without doubt or fear!" — Yvena Despagne, Juror
