FORTALEZA, Brazil - eMusicWire -- Brazilian jazz legends Flora Purim and Airto Moreira have teamed up with musician-producer Ricardo Bacelar for a new single, "Aqui, Oh!" (by Toninho Horta and Fernando Brant), releasing August 29 on streaming platforms worldwide. Recorded at Jasmin Music studio in Fortaleza, Brazil, the track features Flora on vocals with Bacelar, and Airto on percussion and vocals. It will also appear as a bonus track on their forthcoming album, scheduled for 2026, produced alongside a behind-the-scenes documentary by award-winning filmmaker Jom Tob Azulay.

The single marks the couple's return to the studio in Brazil after decades in the U.S., where they built influential careers in jazz and fusion, working with icons such as Miles Davis, Chick Corea, and Stan Getz. Known for their experimental spirit and strong Brazilian identity, Flora and Airto continue to innovate more than 50 years into their partnership.

In addition to this project, Bacelar recorded a separate duo album with Airto featuring original compositions. Both works are part of Jasmin Music's ongoing commitment to high-quality Brazilian music collaborations.
