NEW YORK - eMusicWire -- Multi-hyphenate Christian Wiggs will appear at NYC's legendary Birdland Jazz Club for "Oscar Meets Tony: Songs from Broadway and Cinema" on Sunday, April 12.
Tickets are still available for a brand new show from this vocalist, bandleader, lyricist, producer, director, artist manager, educator, record label executive, founder and CEO of Bandstand Presents, and host of "Jazz Tonight" on PBS.
Born to a choreographer, Wiggs' immersion into theatre and the jazz tradition has led to a remarkable career as an artist. He has been featured with and led ensembles on prolific stages besides Birdland, including the Blue Note, Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center and SXSW.

Producing chart topping records for the most sought-after names in jazz and reaching millions of viewers via his PBS television show, Wiggs manages GRAMMY and Tony Award-winner Bryan Carter, Emmet Cohen and serves as the musical manager for global icon Jeff Goldblum. As an educator, Wiggs is the co-founder and Executive Director of Global Jazz Workshop alongside Artistic Director, Chad LB.
Doors open at 4:30pm for Christian Wiggs: "Oscar Meets Tony: Songs from Broadway and Cinema," a 5:30 performance on Sunday, April 12.
