Funky Slap Bass Guitar Groove Gives Rise to Evocative Lyrics
RENO, Nev. - eMusicWire -- Lynn Moe, the creative force behind Cluster Of Three, is thrilled to announce the release of the new single Be There For You from the forthcoming debut album One Man's Weeds Another Man's Garden tentatively scheduled to be released in early 2025. Be There For You is now available on all popular streaming services.
In producing the debut Cluster Of Three album, Moe set out to build song tracks guided by the genres of music and artists that have influenced his creative process over the years including Rock, R&B & Blues and Retro Pop.
As an example of the importance that these influences played in the overall production of One Man's Weeds Another Man's Garden Moe talked specifically about one big time influence behind the production of the new single, Be There For You. "The slap bass guitar groove directly pays homage to Larry Graham, who is largely regarded as the father of the slap bass technique. As a kid I remember sitting in my bedroom and listening in amazement to Graham's licks on Sly Stone records. I grew in the belief…that this type of funky bass needed to be part of my musical landscape." Moe concluded.

Without having the resource of a bona fide recording studio or "live" studio musicians, Moe turned to collaborating with online studio musician communities from around the world to produce Cluster Of Three's debut album. "I was blessed to discover a world of gifted and talented artists who were willing to put in the creative sweat needed to elevate each song well beyond whatever visions that I might have had. I consider myself very fortunate to be alive during this time. None of this would not have been possible back in the day." Moe said.
An official music video for Be There For You has also been released under Cluster Of Three, which relies heavily on AI generated images. "While I understand what some are saying - that AI subverts and corrupts the creative process – I found just the opposite to be true. The lyrics for this song are very evocative, and having the power to create images that vividly support those lyrics was both exhilarating and satisfying." Moe remarked.
Unreleased tracks from One Man's Weeds Another Man's Garden are available on the official Cluster Of Three website: https://www.lynnmoemusic.com/.
