The family friendly event Feb. 26 will support emergency food programs
FORT MYERS, Fla. - eMusicWire -- Community Cooperative announces the return of the Empty Bowls fundraiser, presented by FineMark National Bank & Trust, to take place on Saturday, Feb. 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers.
Sanibel Pottery will be collaborating with this year's event to raise hunger awareness through art. One-of-a kind handcrafted ceramic bowls made by Lee County school children and artisans will be available for purchase at the event as a reminder of those who go hungry right here in Lee County.
This year's event will feature:
The event supports Community Cooperative's emergency food programs that include Sam's Community Café & Kitchen, Community Market and Mobile Food Pantries.

Admission is free for kids and $10 for adults 18 years and older, including a ceramic bowl while supplies last and soup tasting.
