Hard-Hitting High-Energy Bands: FREE for the First Time August 26-29
SALT LAKE CITY - eMusicWire -- The Heavy Side of the Mountain West
For the past year, the pandemic kept us indoors and off-stage yet our city has changed dramatically. Thousands more now call Salt Lake City home. Crucialfest 10 aims to do more than just get back to normal. Through partnerships with Huge Brands, Graywhale Entertainment, and a myriad of other local sponsors, Crucialfest will be free to attend for all! Making Crucialfest free is an easy way to thank the community for its support over the years, but also an invitation for as many new faces as possible to join the party!
Since debuting in 2011, Crucialfest has continuously cultivated the heavy side of independent music. Elevating bands that push boundaries in rock and roll, unafraid to be loud, bold, and irreverent. Salt Lake City fosters a unique blend of attitude and imagination. Crucialfest is carefully curated to include new bands making waves, reunions from local legends, and notable regional outfits.
Join us as we revel in a four-day-long sonic onslaught featuring 32 bands: A debut performance from The Otolith (X SubRosa), once-in-a-lifetime reunions from Iceburn, Eons and Reviver, national acts including Shelter Red, Blackwater Holylight, Witch Mountain, Bewitcher, Hippie Death Cult, Dreadnought, Ils, and Gaytheist with support from Utah's Mortigi Tempo, Baby Gurl, Necrowolf, The Penitent Man, Døne, and more!
