NEW YORK - eMusicWire -- Donelle Valentine Taps Into Soulful Nostalgia on New Single "They Don't Understand" Out July 11^th.

Bronx, NY — Rising R&B artist Donelle Valentine returns with his most vulnerable release yet, "They Don't Understand," available on all major streaming platforms July 11, 2025. Blending vintage soul with contemporary edge, the track offers a gripping reflection on isolation, self-doubt, and the quiet strength of perseverance.

Fresh off his recent signing to PlayBook Distribution, the team behind Brent Faiyaz, Donelle is gearing up for the release of his upcoming project, Silhouettes. "They Don't Understand" sets the tone of deeply introspective, emotionally charged, and rooted in the raw honesty that defines Valentine's sound. "This isn't just a song, it's a conversation I've been waiting to have," Donelle shares. "It's for the people who feel invisible, the ones whose hearts speak louder than their circumstances."

With lush instrumentation and aching vocals, "They Don't Understand" follows the momentum of past singles including:

• "All The Time" (produced by Cash Cobain & NAH WTF)
• "C'Mon" (produced by Power Trav)

The track also paves the way for Donelle's highly anticipated project Odyssey, featuring guest appearances from Smoke DZA, Slim Dollars, and Renee Harmoni.
