Experience the Vocal Arts of Fairfax Inaugural Season at Voices in Color Performance

FAIRFAX, Va. & WASHINGTON - eMusicWire -- Vocal Arts of Fairfax concludes their inaugural season with Voices in Color, a celebration of composers of color. This special event will be on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 pm at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, VA.

"Selecting this program was a challenge—there's such a wealth of powerful music by composers of color. So many pieces spoke to me, it was hard to choose just one concert's worth," says Michael Ehrlich, Artistic Director. "I believe this music will resonate with every listener and do what music does best: build a sense of shared community."

As a tribute to the creativity, resilience, and innovation of artists whose works have shaped music history and continue to inspire today, the concert will offer audiences an important, inclusive and interactive musical journey.
