The Heart of Miss Bee is a free guided grief journal program for individuals who have experienced a traumatic loss and have limited access and exposure to grief journals.

In 2018, Gray experienced a traumatic loss when her beloved mother died suddenly and unexpectedly. As a result, Gray decided to honor her mother's legacy by becoming a published author.
