Keekeh Rojas, the "Time Bandit," Merges Past and Present in a Dreamy Collection Celebrating Two Beloved Hometowns.
THE COLONY, Texas - eMusicWire -- Every artist has a unique story, but few merge their past, present, and art as seamlessly as Keekeh Rojas. Hailing from the small, heartfelt town of Cataño in Puerto Rico and now residing in The Colony, Texas, Keekeh, known as the "time bandit," unveils a collection that is a symphony of motion, color, and emotion: "Skyscapes: Abstract Horizons."
This captivating collection was birthed from an experiment for a Plano Photography Club competition. Keekeh, in his quest to create something different for print, stumbled upon a technique combining motion and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). When paired with the tactile feel of the photo rag 308 paper, the resulting image resonated with the painterly quality of an artwork, making sunsets appear like dreamy brush strokes.

"I moved to The Colony starting a new life after some personal challenges," Keekeh shared. "This town reminds me so much of Cataño, and this collection is my tribute to both places. It's a new beginning, and I want people to see, feel, and resonate with the warmth of these towns every time they look at 'Skyscapes: Abstract Horizons'."
While the collection is exclusively available online with FineArtAmerica, Keekeh is eager to bring it closer to the community. Efforts are underway to organize a local exhibition, allowing residents and art enthusiasts to experience the beauty of "Skyscapes: Abstract Horizons" firsthand.
