Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) is hosting the 17th Annual HUSH Gala. This year's theme is Oktoberfest in the Black Forest. Guests will be dressed to the neins in lederhosen and dirndl to experience Bavarian food and great brews.
CALGARY, Alberta - eMusicWire -- The HUSH Gala brings together members of Calgary's businesses, community, and government sectors to celebrate joining forces to make a difference in the lives of children and adults in the disability community. Events like these also help promote awareness, acceptance and understanding for individuals with disabilities to live, learn and work with independence and full citizenship.
All proceeds from the event go towards CPAA's programs and services. This year's bold goal for the HUSH Gala is to raise over $100,000 to support people with all disabilities in the province of Alberta. A registered non-profit organization, CPAA's mission is to give people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities the opportunity for independence and full inclusion in our society.

In the spirit of "hush" the gala keeps the location secret until it's nearly time for the event. This year's location was revealed to the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. Tickets are available online at HUSHGala.com and include general, VIP, and Experience Package options.
To ensure guests experience an evening of wanderlust, so many local businesses have generously supported HUSH Gala, including the presenting sponsor, Weir Bowen. Guests can enjoy a lager from local brewery, Common Crown, or sip on City & Country wine or Highwood Distiller's signature cocktails as well. The Bavarian themed 3 course dinner, European-inspired entertainment, and VIP extras are possible thanks to Cuming & Gillespie Lawyers, TD Bank, Telus, Lane Quinn, and CO-OP Home Health Care. A highlight of the night is bidding on fabulous items in the live and silent auctions, donated from a wide variety of businesses near and far!
