HOUSTON - eMusicWire -- They trained with Tom Jackson — the live performance coach behind Taylor Swift and The Band Perry — to build a main stage show worthy of a global audience. They are Official Josie Music Awards Nominees for Best Country Duo and the 2026 Old Settlers Fest Youth Winners. This month, Maddy Grace (17) and Colton James (14) — the Houston-area sibling duo Maddy & Colton — take the main stage of FIFA Fan Festival Houston, performing for a global World Cup audience.
Selected from 300 applicants in the citywide talent search, the duo performs twice: Sunday, June 21 at 1:00 PM on Youth Soccer Day, and Monday, June 29 at 4:00 PM on Rodeo & Western Heritage Day. The Fan Festival is expected to welcome more than 500,000 visitors across its 34-day run; admission is free.

Their new single "the start", written entirely by the two siblings, releases this summer on all major streaming platforms.

WHO THEY ARE
Maddy & Colton write, arrange, and perform as one act — story-driven original songwriting carried by sibling harmonies, guitar, and harmonica. Their work has earned the Houston Songwriter Association's Song of the Month and an active co-writing partnership with Nashville publisher and Grammy-voting member Barry Coffing, whose credits include 200+ film and TV sync placements and an Emmy nomination.
The duo has built 50,000+ followers across platforms, and TikTok invited their live account into its Music Spotlight program, where sessions average 35,000–39,000 viewers.
