JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - eMusicWire -- The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts, David Volosin Katz, founder and chief judge, announced on Friday, March 19th the National Semi-Finalist choruses in all categories. Among the list of choruses throughout the nation, the Jacksonville Children's Chorus: Darren Dailey, President and Artistic Director was selected as a 2021 National Semi-Finalist for Choral Performance in the youth division!

The American Prize is a prestigious national competition that evaluates and rewards the best performers, ensembles, composers and administrators in the United States. The competition is separated into categories based on age group or education level. The evaluations are done by a panel of distinguished judges in the performing arts. Evaluation of performers is based solely on submitted recorded performances.
