The 'Going Places' theme commemorates the journey of a decade of music, advocacy, and great strides for Jazz Hands for Autism as an organization.
Each performer chose and co-arranged their musical selection. Performances will feature original compositions and collaborations with fellow JHFA members in support of the the theme.
In the past ten years, JHFA has prepared hundreds of neurodivergent musicians for academic and career success, evolving its programs based on rich classroom and community based experiences with youth and adults on the autism spectrum.
Programs like the Jazz Hands Music Academy/Junior Academy prioritize musicianship, vocational training, and community engagement, impacting over 200 emerging musicians while generating $50,000 in earnings for neurodivergent musicians via sync licensing and performances.
