EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - eMusicWire -- After nearly 20 years, Jon Robert Quinn has finally released the music video for 'Rhythm of the City'.

"Rhythm of the City has a special place in the hearts of my fans because wherever I go to play and I start this song, the audience cheers. They just love this song. I remember the first time I played this song live, I was playing at The Crawdad Festival in Isleton, California. A gentleman walked up to me and introduced himself as Orlando. Steve Orlando and I became great friends. He was the backbone of the 'Solo-Fisticated' tour in 2004. When this song was written, I loved how it turned out. I knew it would do well, but needed a good name for it. I knew where I wanted to go with the name of the song but couldn't land anything that would stick. I called my mother, played the song over the phone for her and in less than ten seconds, she came back with 'Rhythm of the City'. I loved it. I knew we had a great song that would last for years with the audience."

In putting together the video, Jon Robert Quinn found old live footage in his archives performing the song over a decade prior, and piecing together shots of Rome, a beautiful video came together that aligns with the soulful instrumental guitar. About a year ago, the 'Solo-Fisticated' album was pulled from streaming platforms because as technology progressed, those old "bedroom" recordings just don't cut in anymore. The track used in the music video was from the 'Quintessential: 20 Years' album in 2018.
