WASHINGTON - eMusicWire -- On Friday, March 28, 2025 the legendary Go-Go band 'Northeast Groovers' (NEG) will take the stage at The Howard Theatre | 620 T St NW, Washington, DC from 9:00pm – 2:00am while making history celebrating 40 years of hits.  Northeast Groovers (NEG) was founded by Khari Pratt and later managed by Khari's Mother, the late Mrs. Pearl Pratt and has provided DC and beyond with the sounds of Go-Go, DC's official music celebrating 40 years with several original members including Founder & Bass Guitarist Khari Pratt and Keyboardist & Music Producer Lamond 'Maestro' Perkins.  Lead Vocalist Christian 'Rah Rah' Black, also known as 'Rapper,' Drummer Larry 'Stomp' Atwater, Percussionist Robert 'Rocket Rob' Chase, Keyboardist & Music Producer Chris 'Keyboard Chris' Wright, Guitarist Mel 'GuitarBoi' Chung, Percussionist Curtis 'Kirky' Rice will be joined on stage by former NEG members Ronald 'Dig Dug' Dixon, Rapper David '32' Ellis and Percussionist Samuel 'Smoke' Dews.  NEG will also have a few Surprise Guests making an appearance for this rare monumental night.
