Acclaimed Musicians Doug Hammer, Doug Kwartler, and WIllie Sordillo are set to join Linda Marks for the 13th episode of Listen Local Series at The Fallout Shelter in Norwood

NORWOOD, Mass. - eMusicWire -- The Fallout Shelter located at  61 Endicott Street, Norwood, MA will produce their 13th episode of Listen Local featuring Linda Marks and friends on Thursday, February 22 at 7pm ET. Joining her on stage are three accomplished musical friends: Multi-Award winner Doug Hammer on Piano, TV Series Composer (Y&R / All My Children / Dark Blue) Doug Kwartler on guitar and percussion, and Top 10 charter Willie Sordillo on alto sax. Mirror's Edge, The Fallout Shelter`s Open Mic Discovery, featuring Mary Medeiros and Jeff MacDonnell will also grace the stage.

Marks, who is a multi-genre and a multi-award singer-songwriter located in Waltham, MA finds a home in the contemporary folk genre and writes songs from the heart to the heart of the audience. Her 14th studio album, A Recipe For Hope, just released on 1/1/24, has already won the Clouzine International Music Award for Best Folk Album.

Marks is planning a special event on June 23rd at the Burren in Somerville for both her `A Recipe For Hope` album release and the premiere of her global recording "Sanctuary"; a song inspired by, and including words of domestic violence survivors.

A special recording will premiere Recording Academy artists from the US, Greece and Israel and produced by multi-Grammy winning sound engineer Lonny Park with Nate Horton.

Marks' who aspires to touch hearts and souls and to bring hope and light continues to engage her online audience with her weekly vlog Songs From The Heart, Meditations For The Heart  launched during the pandemic. She is already preparing her 15th album titled The Silence Of The Stars.

This is an all-ages show. ADA compliant with wheelchair accessibility.
