Compared to previous years where full coverage projects and large colour counts were the norm, most best-sellers now feature under 20 colours, require less stitching time, and avoid complex techniques like fractional stitches, metallic threads, and beading.

• Fewer Colours: Most patterns now use fewer than 20 colours, down from 40+ in past years.
• Miniature Projects Rising: Demand for small, quick-to-complete designs has grown significantly.
• Full Coverage Declining: Large-scale designs are less common in best-sellers.
