FREDERICK, Md. - eMusicWire -- Mark Bryan, lead guitarist and co-founder of the 20 million-selling, two-time Grammy®-winning band Hootie & The Blowfish, will be performing tracks off his new solo album, Midlife Priceless, at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 8:00 PM. Bryan is joined onstage by The Screaming Trojans.
Tickets are $30 and go on sale to Weinberg Center members Thursday, August 4 at 10:00 AM and to the public Tuesday, August 9 at 10:00 AM. Tickets may be purchased online at weinbergcenter.org , by calling the box office at 301-600-2828, or in person at 20 West Patrick Street.
Following the immense success of Hootie & The Blowfish, Midlife Priceless is the title of Bryan's fourth solo album. It's also how he rolls. Each track off his new album speaks to Bryan's recent musical journey as well as the many moods and friends that have passed through his studio and world. "Wanna Feel Something", the album's first single, speaks to Bryan's goal of 'making you feel something' as he carries the energy felt around the country that rocked with Hootie onto these records – especially when he gets to that guitar solo. Coming on the heels of Hootie's sold-out 2019 arena tour, Bryan's latest feels confident, free, and perfect for long-time fans of his band and new listeners alike. Bryan's show is a must see for Hootie & The Blowfish lovers as they can rock out to his iconic guitar playing and experience the latest records that tell the story of his musical journey, inspirations, and life reflections.

Joining Bryan onstage are The Screaming Trojans; a mix of Bryan's musician friends from the Gaithersburg area who have known each other for decades. The groups' name is inspired by the local high schools they attended, growing up in the area, Seneca Valley High School (The Screaming Eagles) and Gaithersburg High School (The Gaithersburg Trojans).
