Over 300 community leaders gathered at CityPlace Doral to celebrate the "31 Voices" project and honor 15 influential women driving real change across South Florida.
MIAMI - eMusicWire -- Miami Women's Month 2026 concluded pass march 28 with a standout closing event at CityPlace Doral, bringing together more than 300 attendees to celebrate, connect, and empower women across the community.
Miami Women's Month began as an initiative led by Isabel Almaraz, Constanza Espejo and Marcelo Llovel, with the goal of creating a meaningful space for women to connect, grow, and support.
"What started as an idea to recognize women quickly evolved into a platform focused on connection, opportunity, and community," said Constanza Espejo, board member and director of the initiative.

A central pillar of the initiative is its official calendar, a growing platform that not only brings together events across the city but also supports and elevates high-quality proposals under one shared vision: community.
One of this year's highlights was the "31 Voices" project, which honored one woman each day throughout March. These women shared real stories of resilience, reinvention, and leadership, inspiring others through their impact and journeys.
A Closing that Reflects Growth
The closing event marked the culmination of a month of meaningful engagement, bringing together community leaders, cultural representatives, and influential figures from across Miami.
During the evening, 15 women were recognized for their contributions and impact, receiving honors from both Miami Women's Month and the City of Doral.
The event was attended by Doral Councilwoman Maureen Porras, as well as international representatives including the Consul of Argentina and the Cultural Delegate of Spain, highlighting the multicultural spirit of the initiative.
