MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - eMusicWire -- Muscle Shoals, AL — Independent southern rock band Bound South has begun releasing a new 10-track album one song at a time, unveiling a new track every two weeks across all major streaming platforms. The rollout is designed to build toward the release of the album's flagship single, Judgement Day, scheduled for March 13.
The first two singles from the project, Murder River and A Gambler Knows A Cheat, introduce the record's themes of love, loss, and redemption while establishing the band's blend of southern rock, outlaw country, and blues.
Unlike most modern releases, the album was recorded entirely live, with musicians playing together in the room using microphones and tube amplifiers. The band avoided digital shortcuts such as autotune, quantization, and virtual instruments, relying instead on live performances and traditional recording methods.

Bound South operates without a label or outside producers and handles all writing, recording, releasing, and promotion independently. The band also self-manages its releases and creates its own visual and promotional content.
Judgement Day serves as the album's central statement, reflecting a sense of urgency about a world shaped by increasing corruption, greed, technological dependence, and institutional control. The song asks listeners to consider whether hope and moral choice still matter in uncertain times.
The album will continue to be released through a series of bi-weekly singles until all 10 tracks are available later this year.
Bound South's music is available now on all major streaming platforms. More information and updates can be found at www.boundsouth.com/judgementday
