DARIEN, Conn. - eMusicWire -- This June, the Geary Gallery of Darien is proud to present the sunlit floral still life paintings of Saddle River, NJ artist, Patricia Nebbeling. Her sun-washed light studies will be on exhibit June 4-28 at the Geary Gallery, located at 576 Boston Post Road. All are welcome and admission is free.

About Patricia Nebbeling

Patricia Nebbeling is an award-winning painter and signature member of the Oil Painters of America, The Hudson Valley Art Association and New York's prestigious Salmagundi Club. Her work has been juried into events in both the United Kingdom and the United States including The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Society of Women Artists, the Oil Painters of America (OPA) National and Regional Shows, the American Impressionist Society (AIS) National Juried Exhibitions and Plein Air events nationwide. Nebbeling is a former oil painting instructor at the prestigious Ridgewood Art Institute in Ridgewood, NJ, and is an elected artist in the American Artists Professional League.

Nebbeling's work has been exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London, the Chelsea Art Society in London, the Salmagundi Club and the Ridgewood Art Institute.

Her accolades include the Grand Prize in the 2019 Sylvia Glesman Show at the Salmagundi Club, Second Place in the 2019 American Impressionist Society Small Works Showcase, and multiple Awards of Excellence from the Oil Painters of America. She has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine as a 2019 "Artist to Watch" and continues to be selected for top-tier exhibitions annually. Recent highlights include the 2023 Royal Institute of Oil Painters Exhibition and the 2024 Society of Women Artists Show in London.
