ASHFORD, U.K. - eMusicWire -- RIVERA: The UK Music Scene's Best-Kept Secret

Rivera are not just another phony guitar group trying to live out their childhood nostalgias. In fact, Rivera are still in the tail ends of their childhoods, aged only 16. Having released a fiery mod-punk debut single: 'This One's Gonna Be Different', in September 2025, Rivera are wasting no time with releasing more material to their eager fans. Their next track Gullible, the soulful Hendrix-fest under the lens of a Britpop Revival, is set to come out December 6th, with much more to come.

Rivera are highly dedicated to their goals, from writing 100s of songs to record at home with anything they can get their hands on to putting said songs onto CDs and handing them out while busking to anyone kind enough to even take one. The members believe that the industry is not suited for the rise of new guitar bands, or any music that the BBC does not see fit. When the comfort of familiarity is so depended upon, Rivera believes it is everyone's duty to escape it. Frontman Elliot Roden has gone as far as to say the lyrics outweigh the music in his mind. Rock 'n' Roll intellect at its finest, it is no surprise they study A-level History and Politics.
