A portion of the fascinating talk will spotlight the film High Society, a 1956 romantic musical comedy starring Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Louis Armstrong. (Photo shown, public domain, with director Charles Walters.)
For those unfamiliar with the film High Society, a short video synopsis as a tribute to High Society, narrated by Karen Morris, is posted on The Rat Pack Music Alliance YouTube Channel.
A nod to Frank Sinatra's dear pal, Sammy Davis, Jr., will be mentioned, as it will be Sammy's 100th Anniversary on December 8th, and Ms. Morris is writing an article as a special remembrance.
To round out the musical afternoon, Jazz Vocalist and Great American Songbook stylist, Zack Alexander, will perform popular Sinatra tunes and classic holiday favorites as part of the celebration.
