The event is free and open to the public, featuring food, music, family activities, refreshments, and giveaways. Attendees will experience two days of music, dance, and traditional art demonstrations. Community members, sponsors, and vendors planning to attend must register online at SlavicExperience.com prior to the event.
The event is part of TOP VENTURES parent company, TOP PIEROGI culinary creations, and the people of Slavic heritage including those whose families once emigrated from countries like Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Belarus, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia, as well as other Eastern and Central European countries.

"To create a welcoming space for people of Slavic heritage to commemorate, celebrate, and share the richness and diversity of Eastern European traditions and customs with the greater Twin Cities community," says Executive Director Aneta Lennartson. "It is our goal to accomplish this in a number of educationally and culturally significant ways, and to provide a fun, free, and family-friendly experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in our community and in the Minnesota market with this Slavic heritage event."
The event will also allow attendees to explore live music, folk dance performances, homemade food, children's learning areas, educational exhibits, and ethnic vendors. By enhancing the community's knowledge of these lively peoples through a joyful, family-friendly experience, we hope to honor the shared past of our beloved ancestors by educating and enriching the lives of a future generation. A full weekend of entertainment and education and the biggest fundraiser for Ukraine is planned.
