FORT MYERS, Fla. - eMusicWire -- NAMI Collier County has announced sponsorship and registration opportunities for its 20th annual Hope Shines awareness walk on Jan. 29. The annual walk will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Baker Park in Naples and will include music, refreshments, face painting, balloon animals and family-friendly fun for participants. The outdoor scenic walk provides an in-person, socially distanced event to support NAMI Collier County.
"Throughout the holidays, and over the last couple of years living through a global pandemic, levels of isolation, depression, anxiety and substance misuse have risen," said Kristin Long, director of development for NAMI Collier County. "NAMI Collier has seen an incredible increase in demand for services and support that we continue to provide for free. Our goal is to fill the park with supporters, friends, family and dogs to celebrate this town's commitment to ensuring mental health support for all who need it!"
