WASHINGTON - eMusicWire -- Acclaimed soul singer-songwriter Teri Tobin—a proud Howard University Bison—returns to her old stomping grounds for a special Meet & Greet Listening Experience at HR Records on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, celebrating her latest album, Forever.
HR Records, one of the few Black-owned record stores remaining in the United States, continues to stand as a cultural landmark for music lovers, collectors, and the preservation of Black music history. This special event underscores the store's commitment to showcasing independent artists who carry forward the legacy of soul, R&B, and authentic storytelling.
Co-hosted by award-winning indie soul artist Debórah Bond and celebrated DJ and radio personality RWeOnTheAir, the evening will blend music and conversation, offering guests a rare behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind Tobin's latest work.
