Based on Sholom Aleichem's beloved characters, immortalized in Fiddler on The Roof, journey with Tevye and his daughters as they navigate Ellis Island, encounter the Statue of Liberty, and build a new life in the vibrant melting pot of Manhattan's Lower East Side in 1914. Enjoy Tevye's humorous wonders and challenges of the modern world - from automobiles to electricity to that strange new invention, the telephone - while transforming from humble street vendor to proud Delancey Street grocer. In this heartwarming tale crafted by master storyteller Dugan, Tevye's trademark wit and wisdom shine as he wrestles with the eternal question: how to honor tradition while embracing life as an American Jew.
