ATLANTA - eMusicWire -- The Spin Awards is proud to announce the launch of a powerful new honor: the Tracy Morgan Excellence in Broadcasting Award. This annual Legacy Award will recognize outstanding professionals in Christian Gospel radio whose careers demonstrate excellence, longevity, and faith-driven leadership. The award will make its official debut during The Spin Awards Weekend Experience, taking place October 23–25, 2025, in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

The three-day experience includes two full days of free events at the Embassy Suites Atlanta Airport Hotel, followed by the main red carpet awards show on Saturday, October 25 at the prestigious Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Tracy Morgan is a national trailblazer in Christian radio and a multi–Stellar Award winner for Announcer of the Year. For decades, her signature voice and spirit-filled programming have uplifted Gospel audiences around the world. Her show is nationally syndicated, reaching global listeners and advancing the mission of Christian media with excellence and power.

She has been inducted into both the Broadcasters Hall of Fame (Akron, Ohio) and the Columbia School of Broadcasting Hall of Fame. In 2022, she became the first woman ever inducted into The Spin Awards Hall of Fame—a milestone that quietly underscored her influence and trailblazing leadership in the field.
