'Tis the Season Weekend activities bringing holiday joy to Frankenmuth River Place Shops

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - eMusicWire -- Frankenmuth, Mich. – October 30, 2024 – Frankenmuth River Place Shops is once again hosting a magical holiday experience starting the weekend after Thanksgiving, with a spotlight on Santa Claus and his "pop-up" Santa's Workshop.

'Tis the Season Weekends include holiday-themed activities such as strolling carol performances and visits with Santa Claus at Frankenmuth River Place Shops. The activities are free and take place on Saturdays and Sundays starting November 30 through December 22.

"The Frankenmuth River Place Shops team is excited to make the holiday season merry and bright, and are also working hard to prepare Santa's Workshop in time for those memorable Christmas cards, emails, and photos shared with family and friends," said Bethany Childs, Director of Events at the Bavarian-themed shopping village.

A highlight of 'Tis the Season Weekends is the meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa Claus and his North Pole team at his "pop-up" Santa's Workshop on the Festival Platz stage near the Cass River Bar and Grill. Guests can visit with Santa atop his magical Christmas throne during his visiting hours from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays.

"Mrs. Claus will also be present to help keep an eye on things, just like she does at the North Pole," Childs said.

Guests can also complete their holiday shopping to the tune of classic Christmas carols with strolling carol performances by the Fenton Chorus and assorted quartets from 1 to 4 p.m. each day of 'Tis the Season Weekends.
