HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - eMusicWire -- VELLA LA VELLA brings serious heat to fans with the release of their new single, Blonde, Bad and Beautiful, and music video. Described as heavy metal rock with a satisfying dose of ripping chords and throbbing backbone beats, Blonde, Bad and Beautiful gets your blood pumping.
Formed in 2020 during the pandemic, VELLA LA VELLA began playing music in a Pontiac going through a Wendy's drive thru, exploding on social media when their pop-up performances took them and their heavy metal-ified Pontiac into the feeds of millions of online users.
The inspiration behind Blonde, Bad and Beautiful is a tangled mix of age-old sagas of love, sex and missed opportunities. "The song was inspired by a show we played at the University of Washington," said Symmes. "And I saw one of the most beautiful girls ever rockin' out in front. She was the one that got away."

The video is infused with turbo-driven imagery--fast-paced and exhilarating. Blonde, Bad and Beautiful freezes a moment in time that was lost, but never forgotten.
Johnny Symmes (guitarist/vocalist) was born in Spokane, Washington and his style is influenced by the iconic kings of heavy metal such as AC/DC and Judas Priest, to the contemporary styles of Ghost, Eric Johnson and Brett Garsed. He brings a fresh perspective to heavy metal, with a dynamic range and ability to energize his audience. Johnny met his band members at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California where they have taken their music to stages from LA to the Midwest.
Johnny Shankel (bassist) is a California-based bassist known for his in-your-face personality on and off the stage. His path to bass started with a pair of drumsticks and his 7+ years on the kit cemented his musicality in the rhythm section. He brings right-hand techniques and a distinctive voice to the bass, adding his authentic style to Blonde, Bad and Beautiful.

From Marine to musician, Luis's music is a testament to his strength and resilience, inspiring others to follow their passions. Luis brings blues rock-inspired riffs to Blonde, Bad and Beautiful. He produces his own music and likes to push the boundaries with experimental sounds.
Nachiket Karekar (drummer), goes by Nach and hails from Mumbai, India where he starred on MTV Splitsvilla on national television, propelling his career. Nach's journey morphed from actor to artist when his passion for drumming led him to pursue music at Asia's Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music.
