PORTLAND, Maine - eMusicWire -- Join us Thursday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m. for the opening of an annual exhibition of original paintings and drawings created on a time honored raw product – paper. An unforgiving surface around for centuries, paper reveals the artist's proficiency in creating visual art.
This year's exhibit is comprised of a selection of works on paper in a range of styles and mediums by artists' Amy Bickford – watercolor and gouache; Linda Caron – watercolor; Patricia Chandler – graphite; Randy Eckard – watercolor; Roy Perkinson – pastels; HM Saffer - sumi-e, and Chinese and Japanese ground mineral pigments with gouache on Japanese washi paper; Bob Santandrea – pastels; and Susan Tan – watercolor.
Works on Paper is on view free of charge between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from April 1st through April 29, 2021. Additional times scheduled by appointment. For more information about the exhibit contact the gallery by phone (207)-712-1097, email info@richardboydartgallery.com or visit the gallery's website at www.richardboydartgallery.com .
