INDIANAPOLIS - eMusicWire -- The US Air Force Band of Mid-America's Airlifter Brass Ensemble will perform two public concerts in Indianapolis and Bloomington in October. The first concert will take place on October 21, 7 PM, at the Ruth Lilly Hall in the Christel De Haan Fine Arts Center (1230 Greyhound Ln, Indianapolis, IN 46227). The second concert will take place on October 26, 2 PM, in the Whittenberger Auditorium at the Indiana Memorial Union Building (900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405). Admission to this performance is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. These are family-friendly, all-ages events.
The Airlifter Brass Ensemble was recently featured in the Band of Mid-America's 2021 "Spirit of the Season" holiday television program, which aired on over 30 TV stations across the Midwest. The holiday special won the NATAS Mid-America Regional Emmy for Arts & Entertainment Long-Form Content.

The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the United States Air Force. During our band concerts you will hear many of your favorites played by groups ranging in size and genre from our smaller quintets to our jazz band and concert band. All musicians are active-duty Airmen stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois.
Representatives from the USAF Band of Mid-America are available to promote these concerts via interviews or media appearances. Please contact michael.morris.104@us.af.mil to make arrangements.
